Fingerprinting/Livescan

Before becoming an employee of the Byron Union School District you are required to be fingerprinted. Employees may not be placed at a work site until the District receives fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and FBI. Fingerprinting can only occur once an applicant has been offered employment. The BUSD Human Resources Department will provide the prospective employee with a Live Scan form to take to an outside agency.

Rolling fees vary from location to location and cover only the operator’s cost for rolling the fingerprint images. Additional processing fees are required for the State (DOJ) and Federal (FBI) level criminal history record checks. Other fees may also be required (i.e., license fees).

Applicants must present valid photo identification (e.g., Driver’s License) to the Live Scan Operator. Expired identification cards will not be accepted.

Once your livescan has been completed, please send a copy of your completed Livescan receipt to the Human Resources Department.
